Prof. Dr. Işık Didem Karagöz and Her Master’s Students Contribute to “Yaşam Bilimleri–2”
“Yaşam Bilimleri–2: Temel ve İleri Uygulamalar” (Life Sciences–2: Basic and Advanced Applications), featuring two chapters co-authored by Prof. Dr. Işık Didem Karagöz and her master’s students, has been published by Palme Publishing.
We congratulate Prof. Dr. Işık Didem Karagöz and her students on their contributions to this book, which covers various fields of life sciences, and wish them continued success in their academic work.
Prof. Dr. Karagöz, a Researcher Supported by TÜSEB, Visits Rector Doğan
Prof. Dr. Sait Mesut Doğan, Rector of Gaziantep University (GAÜN), received Prof. Dr. Işık Didem Karagöz—the principal investigator of a project selected for funding by the Turkish Health Institutes (TÜSEB)—in his office.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Karagöz provided information on the scope and objectives of the project titled “Development of DNMT/HDAC Dual Epigenetic Inhibitors in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer: A New Drug Candidate for the Turkish Cancer Institute’s Priority Area,” which is funded under the TÜSEB 2026-B2-01 Call.
Under Project No. 52483, the goal is to develop new drug candidates for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer.
Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Mesut Doğan congratulated Prof. Dr. Işık Didem Karagöz, emphasizing the importance of TÜSEB’s support for the university’s research capacity in the field of health sciences.
The project team led by Prof. Dr. Işık Didem Karagöz includes Prof. Dr. Ayşegül İyidoğan, Prof. Dr. Emine Elçin Emre, Assistant Professor Mehmet Tahir Husünet, and Lecturer Leyla Tutar.
